Philanthropies
SPEECH AND HEARING
Delta Zeta contributes to our philanthropies through many events that we host on campus each year. Some of our events include Hoops for Hearing, Heart Health Awareness Week, Hike for Hearing, Turtle Treats, and a Lip Sync Battle.
STARKEY HEARING FOUNDATION
This foundation does research to support hearing health and also delivers hearing aids to people around the world who are in need of them.
GALLAUDETT UNIVERSITY
Gallaudet University in Washington D.C., is the world's only university with undergraduate programs accessible to hearing-impaired students. Delta Zeta supports the university through two scholarships: The Delta Zeta Scholarship Fund and The Fine Arts Endowment Fund.
THE PAINTED TURTLE CAMP
The Painted Turtle Camp is a Paul Newman hole-in-the-wall camp. It is a bill free camp for families with children that have terminal illnesses. The children are able to go camp and live as children without illnesses, participating in activities such as basketball, swimming, and others.
